You asked, we listened

In 2020, MENTOR Colorado Virtual Coffees were created to provide a space for mentoring professionals to support each other through the impacts of COVID-19. Since Virtual Coffees came to an end in 2022, we’ve heard from many of our partners that the need for building community remains. And you also let us know how vital it is to interact and cultivate relationships in person with others who share your passion for the mentoring movement.  By popular demand, we invite you to Ready, Set: Connect, our Virtual Coffee reimagined.

Purpose

Ready, Set: Connect is a no-cost platform for both virtual and in-person sessions that provides relationship-centered opportunities for the mentoring community to engage in an environment where learning and connecting can occur.

Format

The series is presented in two formats throughout the year:

  • • Virtual Webinars: Get inspired, dive into relevant subjects, and learn from experts in the field while you spend time with the mentoring community in an online space.
  • • In-Person Roundtables: Collaborate with your peers while enjoying a complimentary meal and roundtable discussions on relevant mentoring topics facilitated by MENTOR Colorado staff at various locations throughout the state.

2024 Webinars | 11:30am - 1:00pm

Get inspired, dive into relevant subjects, and learn from experts in the field while you spend time with the mentoring community in an online space.

Guest Presenter:

Diana Cutaia, Founder, Coaching Peace Consulting

Session Title:

Self-Care Can Only Happen in a Culture of Care: How do we foster a culture of care that creates the space and encouragement for others to care for themselves?

Description:

As ambassadors of the mentoring movement, we all experience what it’s like to get stuck in the hectic pace of creating communities that nurture, guide, and encourage youth. As we press on in our daily grind, we hear the consistent reminders of self-care. But do we pause to explore meaningful ways to care for ourselves so we can effectively continue this vigorous work of closing the mentoring gap?

In our Ready, Set: Connect debut session with Diana Cutaia, we won’t talk about the surface level of well-being; instead, we’ll dig deeper into creating a culture of care that prioritizes the holistic health of the mentoring community. Expect to be energized, informed, and inspired as Diana leads this important conversation, and exit the webinar with tangible tools for personal application.
